Congratulations to Paul and Tiffany on their brand new baby boy, Reece! I'm working on my Tiff portrait but for now I did a quick Paul drawing (sorry I didn't have time for a grid, but I think you can get some Paulness from this drawing).

One of my favorite crybabies in the whole world. I worked with a grid and some other instructions about using colored pencil to mark highlights and shadows.

I don't have to play the 'guess who' game with this one because Ann already guessed before I did my post.  Hooray Ann!!!!

So, this is David Buck, in 3 attempts.  I had a hard time with the angle of his head and the shape of his glasses.  It was a fun challenge though.

As you can see from the first page, it took me a little more than 3 months, which I'd say is my average.

I draw a lot of changing tables, here is one of my better attempts.
I also draw various images from children's books.  Here's Bugs Bunny and an elephant.
I only have one model who freely cooperates with my schedule:  me.

I really enjoy copying Kathe Kollwitz.
