1. The National - Boxer - Good solid choice.
2. Arcade Fire - Neon Bible - Good album, but not my number 2.
3. Bruce Springsteen - Magic
4. The White Stripes - Icky Thump
5. Feist - The Reminder
6. M.I.A. - Kala - I've listened to samples. I'm not sure this is my thing but comparisons to Cibo Matto are tempting.
7. Wilco - Sky Blue Sky - I want to get this.
8. Modest Mouse - We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank - How did I miss this? I'll have to track this down.
9. Band of Horses - Cease to Begin - Love the song Funeral, but mostly they sound like Fleetwood Mac.
10. Iron & Wine - The Shepherd's Dog - I love a few of I&W songs, but haven't committed to a full album yet.
11. Radiohead - In Rainbows - I couldn't get the interface to work when I tried to buy the album for free.

Interpol got hosed!!!! They had a fine album this year, but they didn't even make the list. Disgraceful!

Also...Yes, the Modest Mouse album is excellent. Yes you should get Wilco.
In Rainbows is very good - prolly only second to OK Computer in Radiohead's Discography. I would put it #2 behind The Boss. Of course, those are the only two albums I have from this list.
